to know about the blossoming romance, he sentenced her to death. She was buried
alive behind the walls.
Walled City of Lahore
Lahore, being a Mughal city was surrounded with walls from the
foreign invaders. The city was once home to seven gates. Today, only two remain
active as all the others have been demolished due to new constructions.
Entering the city through these gates you will encounter narrow streets
allowing only one person to pass through the gate. You will also find carved wood balconies and
